Are you an online business entrepreneur hopeful but really don't know where to start or who to trust? Here is the first in a series of articles designed to help you to get your sea legs on the internet, to not lose too much money and to help you get yourself up and running in your own business.
1. FOCUS: -- Probably the most important piece of advice you can read. Never allow yourself to be drawn away by enticing promises of a gazillion bucks in your first week, $3,000 a day with practically no work and any other over the top souped up advertising gimmick. Thats all they prove to be, just empty promises and gimmicks. Remember program owners are there to make money, to sell something, and if it is you they are targeting then don't be a guinea pig, fooled by their strategies. I didn't wast tens of thousands like some have but I sure have wasted hundreds in my 8 months. I am trying to save you the pain of failure and wasted money that could have been better spent on more important things, like family..
2. COMMITMENT: --Don't join a program until you make up your mind that you will follow through with the necessary work and coaching to get the job done. A program owner or sponsor will wait for you if he/she is worth their salt. You need to be absolutely sure you are doing what is right for you and committed enough to be worth spending the money you will be spending to get started.
3. CHECK IT OUT: -- Do due diligence. Have a really good hard look at your prospective program. Does it have a really solid, good paying, high percentage affiliate payment plan. 20% is very low and unless you can sell hundreds per month at a low price or several a month at a high price look further.
Does your program have a simple, effective training program.? Is the support available? Can you find your way around the website and make things work? What this last point is saving you is months of frustration and serious lack of results like I experienced in my first 8 months.
4. TALK TO THE SUCCESSFUL: -- Find someone who is making the kind of money you want to make. Keep going upline until you are successful. Don't rest on anything less than $s in the bank. There is a law of the universe that says that you can go no higher than your leader. Whilst this may not be necessarily true in every case it is a generality that seems to exist. So keep going until you are talking to someone whose income and results excite you.
5. ASK QUESTIONS: --Don't be afraid to ask for help. This is your life, your future, your families future. Just do whatever it takes to find out the information you need to fulfill your dreams. Don't be afraid of looking foolish. Believe me, you are, so am I. Get over it and ask and move on into success.
